Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 10 to 15 min
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Add to grocery list

1 pound chicken wings, washed thoroughly
Salt
2 sticks of butter
1 (10 ounce) jar of pepper jelly

Directions

Using a fryer or a large pot, heat oil to 350 degrees F.

Cut the chicken wings at the joint to yield a wingette and drumette from each wing. Season wings with salt. Deep fry the wings until golden and crispy, approximately 12-15 minutes.

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add pepper jelly and continually whisk for 5-10 minutes or until it lightly bubbles. Turn heat down to low and allow to simmer as wings continue to cook. When wings are ready, add directly to pan and toss.

Serve immediately with blue cheese and carrots or celery.

Dear Paula, I watch your shows each and everyday looking for something new. I saw your recipe for Fruity Chicken Wings and I am having a difficult time locating pepper jelly. I thought this recipe was quick, easy and looked delicious. I was hoping that you would be able to help me with. I am willing order if necessary. Thank You so much for bringing so much joy into my life and to the lives of the ones I cook for. Angelia L

Paula I like your show, you are down to earth, friendly and funny. I like that. What I would like to see on your web site with your recipes is a picture of the meal.If it's not to much to ask. It looks so good on TV and I need to know if my dish looks like yours when I'm done. I know you are a buzy lady and you like to taste the dishes you make, but can you please take a picture and post it on the your site. Thank You Gran T.
