Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Add to grocery list

16 to 18 unbaked frozen dinner rolls
1 (3-ounce) package regular butterscotch pudding mix, not instant
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted

The night before place frozen rolls in well greased Bundt pan. Sprinkle dry pudding mix over rolls. Sprinkle brown sugar over pudding mix. Sprinkle chopped pecans over brown sugar. Let rise overnight at room temperature, about 8 to 10 hours.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Bake in oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Turn pan over onto a serving platter to remove. Serve by pulling apart chunks with forks.

Paula, I just love the pots and pans set that I bought a couple of years ago. I bought the copper bottom set and would not own any other set after using these. I was even thinking of buying another set to have as a spare but they are hard to find. The only ones I ever come across are the porcelain ones. Just wanted you to know, that I will always love you and just don't give up. Take care!!

I have been making a variation of these for years, but I melt the butter with brown sugar and pecans and then pour over frozen rolls that have been sprinkled with pudding mix and cinnamon. They get covered and go into the oven to spend the night. I uncover them in morning when getting ready for work put them back in oven then I turn it on to 350 and bake 30 minutes. I put hot pan in a towel and take them to work. I turn it upside down on a plate in the break room. These gets oohs and aaahs and is one of my most requested recipes to make! They are so easy and delicious! (I found the variation in an old ranch cookbook in our local used bookstore) I call them my Ooey Gooey Monkey Bread!

I love this recipe! It is similar to one I received from my Grandmother. Hers has 2 tablespoons cinnamon. I like to fix this when I have weekend company and see the expressions on their face when they come downstairs to the smell of fresh baked bread and cinnamon. I use the frozen yeast roll dough and cut each roll into 4 pieces. I like each bite to be sweet and buttery. This is so easy!

All I do is use 18, Rhodes' White Dinner Rolls (yeast), which you can find in the frozen section of your grocery store. Then, just sprinkle the box of (Cook and Serve - not instant!) pudding mix, brown sugar, and top off with melted butter. Then, I dampen a cotton dish towel and lay that on top of the bundt pan. The next morning, just put in the oven and bake, as directed! When slightly cooled, invert on a plate and tap some to make sure it comes out of the pan without tearing. Be sure to grease your Bundt pan well before putting the dinner rolls in and it should be fine. Our family loves this recipe and we use it often! My husband, Danny, our 3 boys, and our sweet little grandson! Thank you, Paula, for another wonderful recipe! Debbie and Danny Collinge Springfield, MO
