Ingredients:

Crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 stick butter, melted

Filling:
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla or almond extract
Fresh berries and mint leaves, for garnish

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, brown sugar, pecans, and butter in bowl. Press dough into an ungreased 13x9x2-inch pan. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. For filling, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar together in a bowl until smooth, using a handheld electric mixer; add eggs and extract; beat well. Pour over crust. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into squares before serving. Decorate tops with berries and mint leaves.

I make this for my work mates and they LOVE IT, I top it with blueberrys and it gets eatin up very fast. I do not cut it into cookies just leave it whole, its still fantastic!!

Love this recipe!!! Super Easy to make! I topped mine with Strawberries in syrup and whipped cream!! Yummy. Next time I will probably put more brown sugar in the crust.

I made these today and took them to work with me. Out of two pans there were none to be had. I changed your recipe by adding a cup of chocolate chips before I baked it. Then after I got it out of the oven I poured caramel sauce, like you use on ice cream over the top then cut it into squares. YUMMMMMMM. Love it and will make it again.

I give it a 5 because it is really yummy. allow i had a hard time with the instructions. my crust didnt seem to brown in time and then i had it with the cheese cake filling in my oven for like 35 min before it looked done!! haha. but i think its just my oven is crappy. i really dont know :)) but none the less. very yummy and very easy preperation.

I went to our 14 annual cookie swap last night. Our neice does this every year Lots of family time, I always take you with me Paula even though you dont know it. Absolutely delicious!!! I did have to cook it about 5 minutes longer but the results were excellent!!!!!!
